The Missoula Building Industry Association prides itself on keeping you up to speed on local government issues, hearings, and events. Our Government Affairs committee meets the third Thursday of each month at our MBIA offices at 4pm.

State
State Government influences important issues for builders and developers: building codes, water rights, fire prevention, infrastructure funding, and more. As a member of the Missoula Building Industry Association, you are already a member of the Montana Building Industry Association.

The State association also provides ample opportunity for involvement with State Government.
Federal
The Federal Government influences the building industry in a variety of important ways. From housing bills to support for infrastructure, the federal government shapes the nations housing market. As a member of the Missoula Building Industry Association, you are already a member of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).
